We will be updating this blog with new photos, as soon as we receive them, as Sbd. Nathan Johnson is ordained as Deacon at St. Tikhon's Seminary in Pennsylvania!

Watch the Video Below: Ancient Paths, Enduring Faith. You will catch several glimpses of our own Subdeacon Nathan Johnson in The Antiochian Archdiocese of North American Pilgrimage of 2025.

From June 13-July 3, His Eminence Metropolitan Saba led 29 seminarians, recent seminary graduates and clergy on a sacred pilgrimage through Jordan and Lebanon. The group enriched their spiritual formation and strengthened their understanding of the Church's history and mission in the Middle East.

They visited and prayed at dozens of churches, monasteries, holy sites and archdioceses. They celebrated two ordinations. And they connected with their Father in Christ, His Beatitude Patriarch John X; His Eminence Archbishop Christophoros of Amman; metropolitans, bishops and clergy of the Antiochian communion; and their spiritual brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ, learning from their successes to shape their own ministries.

Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

Our small parish has provided five men who currently serve as priests within the Orthodox Church. This has been a great blessing to us and the Church at large. Our sixth cadidate, Nathan John, a second-year seminarian at Saint Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary in South Canaan, PA, will be ordinated to the Holy Diaconate on November 30, 2025, by the hand of Metropolitan Saba, at Saint George Church, Allentown, PA..

Additionally, Nathan and April will be blessed with the arrival of their fourth child in mid-December. April is supporting her family as a nurse's aid, but will be unable to work while she recovers from the birth.

We are making a gift from Holy Spirit Church to the Johnson family, both in recognition of Nathan's ordination and to assist them during the months when April is unable to work.

We hope to make a generours love offering to the Johnson family, prior to his ordination, as a support and encouragment for them as they continue their sacrifical preparation for their life in the ministry of the Church.

Your gift, whether small or large, makes a meaningful difference. Giving is simple and secure, and you may choose a one-time donation or set up recurring support by clicking the donate button below, under "Johnson Family," or by check or cash. If you are unable to give, your prayers for Nathan and April are valued.

Thank you for supporting our Holy Spirit Orthodox Church family, and May God Richly Bless You for your help and prayers.
